Route Analysis

Routes are analysed using TomTom’s Custom Travel Times API (CTT).  The CTT calculates statistics for a defined route between an origin and a destination.

Output from the CTT analysis is available in XLS, JSON, KMZ and SHAPE format. JSON results are provided in a gzip compressed format.  If you want to get an example of these files please look at TomTom’s description of CTT and click on the applicable names.

Please specify what format you would like the data in.  The default format is XLS.

Area Analysis

Areas are analysed using TomTom’s Custom Area Analysis API (CAA).  The CAA calculates statistics for traffic in all both directions on all selected roads in an area.
